your clock speed
the smartest people i’ve met and/or look up to move really fast.
that doesn’t mean they’re going 100kmh all day everyday. when I say fast, it’s usually one of 2 things
- speed of decisions*
- speed of action once the decision is made
the very best can do #2 really well.
if inspiration is truly perishable, then the clock starts ticking every time you get an idea. so, it’s most logical to just reduce the friction between getting an idea to do something and actually doing it.
*quick decisions don’t mean quick information-gathering and thinking. these processes require deep thought and will be much slower.
Clock speed: The rate at which a CPU can execute instructions.
ie. clock_speed = executions / instructions to dumb it down.
